This is funny lol! It's taken me so long to post this because I was trying to narrow down my list of items :-p. I really wanted to pick things that represent various aspects of my life.
So here's a little collage to address the first part. . .
So here's a little collage to address the first part. . .
In the top left corner, we have journals, of course! I'm almost always writing *something* down but these 2 are a couple of my favorites. Made by DaySpring, these journals have scriptures on the bottom of their pages. . . sure to inspire and encourage the writer. I feel like they represent my {growing} love for writing and God at the same time.
In the top right corner, we have A Woman After God's Own Heart by Elizabeth George. This book represents the fact that I love to read but more importantly, I appreciate reading books that will motivate me to grow. This book challenged and encouraged me- from the very first chapter!
Front and center is my Vertical Current hoodie! I love this band! I kind of accidentally became a fan but I think it was inevitable :-). If you know me, you know that I don't play when it comes down to good music! This band is the truth-> all of the members are extremely talented by themselves but together, they will blow you away! Here's a clip of them opening for the Robert Glasper Experiment. . .
In the bottom left corner, we have my (old) Snarky Puppy playlist. I've never ever done drugs before but after my first SP show, I felt like I'd experienced a musical high haha! I feel like a Snarky Puppy/Vertical Current show would be one to remember! I'm just speaking it into the atmosphere ;-).
Last but not least, we have Cold Stone Creamery! I had my first Cold Stone experience while attending Hood College. Every couple of months, I try to treat myself to a milkshake from this company (Oreo Overload, Cookie Doughn't You Want Some, etc.). The combinations are so delicious!
Even though I don't have them in the collage, I would definitely include:
- Pictures of my family and friends
- Chopsticks from Sushi Yama (I love sushi!)
- The very first L.O.V.E. Discussion Outline and Flyer
- My vision board- so that I could compare my goals and priorities. . . 20 years later
What would you put in your time capsule???
