I THOUGHT I knew what to do to get your attention but I was so wrong. So lost. Led by my desires and choices- I listened to my own thoughts instead of Your voice. I thought I could spark a response from You if I just prayed for a minute or two. Ha! You saw straight through that. You! Your Word(!) caused me to get my mind right and come back. So, I returned with a sincere heart... an authentic desire to do my part. With a heart full of worship and adoration, I prayed for my life to be a manifestation of Your love and its transforming power. I realized that in Your name, I have a strong tower. I know NOW that You are not my personal genie. You're a King who I should serve faithfully. Allow me to be challenged by Your Word. So that it will be something I do - not that I've only heard.
