Kara's Soft Words

[I wrote this almost a year ago and just found it. . .] Love comes from You . . . Flows from You- FREELY Offering all that You have Peace Joy Strength Wisdom Understanding. . . If we'd only search for- ask for these things. We'd rather focus on the tangible. When will realize that cars, houses, money-> They ALL mean NOTHING?! Will we desire to seek Your face or simply continue to snatch from Your hand?

I realize that everything I have comes from You. Not only that. . . but You make all things new . Even when things don't go "my way". . . You assure me that I'll be okay. YOUR WILL is so much better than my own. I simply need to place my hopes, dreams (even my fears!) at Your throne. Total submission is what You desire of us. In You, should we put our faith and trust. Lord, help us to be more like you. Transform us- as only You can do. Let us have a heart that reflects Yours. Remove all anger/bitterness and make its intentions pure. We know that we're undeserving of Your Love. Yet You watch over us and guide us from above. Lord Jesus- remind us that it's NOT about us. . . it's all about You. Unto Your name is all honor, glory, and power due.
